Big Rose Bookkeeping started as a family business. It was created from a place of passion to make a difference and help others.
It is the company's wish to obliterate the old adage that Accountants are boring, that the profession is mind-numbing and out dated. Technology has propelled us forward and opened the doors to a multitude of options and new ways of working. The old ways are gone. We want to move everyone forward to the ways our children will work. To embrace technology and think out of the box.
It is the hope that this venture will continue for decades with the goal of helping people understand numbers and how to use knowledge to make a difference. We hope to take you along the journey with us. Forward.

Meet the CEO
Jennifer Smith
Jennifer is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Big Rose Bookkeeping.
Her business background spans throughout the years working in Corporate Vancouver in the real estate sector for large asset and property management firms. She obtained a Strata Management license from the Sauder School of Business and managed a multi-million dollar portfolio spanning from Whistler to Squamish.
In 2017, Jennifer relocated her family to sunny Vancouver Island and Big Rose Bookkeeping began. With a Diploma in Accounting, her years of bookkeeping experience spans over a decade. Jennifer has been a Quickbooks Advanced Online Pro-Advisor for the last 5 years and is a proud member of the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers.
With her fondness for working with non-profit organizations, Jennifer is the Board Treasurer for DASH, a provincial non-profit organization whose mission is to support healthy school communities.
In her spare time, you will find Jennifer with her two children and their big dog, Pearl.
